I only use well dryed wood in the light to medium weight range. I carefully select and put together the woods for each guitar individually. For necks I preferably use maple or svetenia mahogany. If possible I like to use thermo treated („roasted“) maple for necks.
As fretboards ebony, cocobolo or maple. For bodies I only use one or two piece body blanks. Here I have found many different woods to achieve great results. Ash, Svetenia Mahogany, Cedro, Black or white limba, alder, etc. I am happy to discuss and use other woods and materials for your individual guitar.
